And I dont have a job right now so we cannot add any expenses. But it is so sweet of you. We took two of our cats to the vet on tuesday and there was one and I so wanted to go get a dog. But I have to wait. But thank you for thinking of me. But come the end of the year. I will so ready for a dog nothing is going to stop me.

At 9:22pm on August 22, 2008, Catd264 said…: I might need one some day. My oldest is married an lives in Dallas and my youngest is at college in San Angelo. My parents do live here but they travel alot. I've had 1 cat that we had bout 10 years. I had to put Buttons down and then about 3 months later the cat. So it wasn't a good year. Before them it was 2 cockers that only lived about 5 years each after that I got Buttons. The vet told me I needed to change breeds. Louie is now 4 and Lila is 2. They have such character that's for sure. Christmas isn't that far away you know......3 1/2 months. I'm 51 and never been without a dog. I'm just a dog person too. They are always there for you, always glad to see you, and love you unconditionally. Some times I'd take the dog over my husband...HAHAHA!

My first I had her for 16 years, but when I was in Junior high we took in a friend dog. Had him for 13 yrs, had one other dog but she did not live but maybe seven years. She had been in a car accident we think she died of a enlarged heart because the way she had to walk only on three legs. And a year before I lost my dog of 13 yrs I got my baby of 14 yrs ( who I had to put down on July 27) I had another dog for 12 yrs who we had to put down because of a blood condition and now I dont have a dog in my life. I have four cats and four turtles. And I realize I am a dog person and it is driving me crazy not having one around. But I am going to give myself until after Christmas. I just hope I can stick with the plan. But if you ever need a dog sitter I am available. :)

He took my heart and helped me heal faster over loosing Buttons. I still missed her and grieved for her. But Louie was cute and such an adorable little guy till he helped me so much. Just so that Sue has other litters and other dogs. Some maybe older. But I also agree that after Christmas people will be taking their pet presents to the shelters.
I just have always had a dog and I hope not one day goes by that I don't have one. They are my joy some days in life. I wish you luck and write some more.

At 3:31pm on August 22, 2008, D L said…: They are sooooooooooooo cute. They made me cry. I so want one but I am still healing from my lost. That I told myself never another puppy. I am looking for a dog about 6 months to 8 months old. My husband and I agree Christmas time ( enough time to heal) and maybe we would wait until after Christmas when people always get rid of the dogs that got for present. But thank you so much for thinking of me. You are so sweet.
